Lucia was born in Cosenza, Italy where she lived in a nunnery until the age of 12. The children were assigned chores and in order to get out of doing laundry, Lucia asked to wash dishes instead. The kitchen quickly became her escape and she hasn't stopped cooking since. Pastosa is the outcome of Lucia's growth from a 5 year old dishwasher to the chef she is today.
Meet Lucia & Skip
They met at the local Galt flea market where Skip was selling his statues.. very romantic. They began to talk about food and instantly hit it off. 19 years later, Pastosa By Lucia was born. Skip makes the pasta and Lucia comes up with the recipes. A dynamic duo.
